Hallowed Ground
I saw an awesome documentary last night on KET that was deeply moving. It is the story of our some 25 overseas cemeteries for our honored military dead, those who gave th4eir lives to preserve our freedoms.
Pictures of well kept veterans burial grounds with countless rooms of crosses were interspersed with brief battle scenes to help viewer locate the battleground which occasioned the burial grounds. When families were given a choice of burial place of their honored dead, 4-% chose the place where they fell.
Pictures showed American relatives, combat friends, and Belgian and French children visiting he cemeteries.
This is a documentary that every single American should view, every school child, and even the free world. We should never forget those
who gave the last full measure of devotion” to their country.
We are incredibly blessed by their sacrifices.
We owe them our freedoms that we enjoy today.
I think the program is to be repeated. Watch fo the KET schedule.
