"Pascal the Rascal Rocks!!!" said the printed sign on the bulletin board of the classroom at Providence Montessori where I had just finished storytelling on Monday March 1.

Maya showed it to me as I was leaving and asked if she got the spelling right. 2nd or 3rd grade, she said she knew my granddaughter, Chloe, as they had met in dancing for the Nutcracker.

She hands around afterwards to share her story-catching at home and was invited to tell one of her own stories at our next event there. (Am there monthly)

We had a great time with the Thrifty Tailor this morning, with some eight of the students wanting to tell and practicing.

Such joy for a storyteller. Amazing. Delightful. Got lots of hugs. How much joy does an octogenerian deserve?
