She is being investigated by a bipartisan committee for abuse of power as Governor, firing the Public Safety Commissioner when he wouldn't fire her ex-brother-in-law, lied about pressuring the guy to do so, and then showed keen judgment by replacing him with someone who had to resign in two weeks because of sexual harassment problems.
Yes, she did ask her Attorney General to open an independent investigation, but the legislature had already started investigating her on ethics charges, still to be completed.
Yes, she did cut property taxes as Mayor which she boasted about at her first press conference, but she also raised the sales tax.
On the basis of a single 15 minute interview with her, McCain said he felt like he had a “soul-mate.” Yes, Bush looks into the eyes of Putin and feels reassured.
“Country First” McCain has put this lightweight a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Conservatives love her. He has sold his soul for political expediency. Talk about cynical calculation? What about judgment worthy of our highest office?
